Jerry Zhou, PhD, MSEE
Owner, Hearing Care Provider
Dr. Jerry earned his Doctoral degree in Hearing Science in Communication Disorders in 1998 and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1996, both at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Tinnitus Association and the American Academy of Audiology
He worked in three major hearing aid manufacturers with various capacities in research and development, engineering, and manufacturing of advanced digital hearing aids and fitting software for over 15 years. He found his real passion in helping people to improve their lives with better hearing directly! He then established Hearing of America in February 2009 with the mission of To Help People to Hear and enjoy life to the fullest.
Dr. Jerry’s unique combination of knowledge in hearing science, engineering, and manufacturing, and the passion of helping the hard-of-hearing has greatly benefited around 5,000 patients and families over the last 15 years.
Dr. Jerry and his wife live in Woodbury and have two adult daughters. He loves to read, be with his family and friends, watch movies, travel, and explore around the Internet.
